just found your blog while searching for other local food blogs to link up to (i’m just outside detroit). i just got back from portland myself a couple weeks ago and blogged about a couple restaurants out there as well. i’m bummed i missed out on the maple bacon doughnuts while i was there… a reason to go back!

Hey — I ate at Bijou too! It was right across from my hotel. Every morning I had to make the sad choice between Stumptown and Bijou. Loved their pancakes. Liked being surrounded by politicos who seemed to make it a habit to eat there.
